2010 FIFA Fan Fest South Africa

The 2010 FIFA Fan Fest South Africa took place in the host country South Africa itself and in another seven countries and 16 cities around the world! With over 6 million visitors and more than 240 event days the 2010 FIFA Fan Fest was one of the biggest live events ever. We are a little bit proud of being involved and being right in the middle of this happening.

We were fully integrated in the central management of FIFA and have been working on the overall concept of the FIFA Fan Fest ever since 2008. The objective to create a platform which satisfies organizers, sponsors, media and fans equally and make them happy.

For all 10 South African venues, the Copacabana venue in Rio de Janeiro, the Zocalo in Mexico-City, Trocadero in Paris, Darling Harbour in Sydney, Villa Borghese in Rom and last but not least the “Strasse des 17. Juni” in Berlin, we conceived the production consisting of the stage, giant screen, sound equipment and lighting as well as FIFA Word Cup event branding.

We have been responsible for tendering, evaluation and selection of all suppliers of the production as well as for the installation, operation and de-installation of the event set up to date.

The FIFA Fan Fest Venue Managers on site are also freelancers from our network, whom we have chosen according to their qualifications and work experience.
